By keeping parents of minor children in the dark about their child’s contemplation to change his or her sex, the state is violating the confidentiality between child and parent. 

In addition they are party to the minors’ access to harmful so-called treatments like chest binders, and dangerous hormone altering drugs, causing permanent sterility. 

With this policy all this can take place without parent knowledge or approval.
